Our Financial Reports provide information on the resources we use to meet targets and deliver health services.

The Code of Conduct is a set of guidelines intended to support ethical behaviour and decision making for all employees at Island Health.

Policies

We have Policies in place that reflect our commitment to integrity, accountability and ethics.

Leadership

Working with the Executive Team, the Board of Directors ensures patients receive the best care possible within an affordable, sustainable health care system.

You are welcome to attend general meetings, which are held in communities across the Island Health region.

Taxpayer Accountability

The Taxpayer Accountability Principles enhance public sector governance, increase accountability, promote cost control, and ensure the provincial public sector organizations operate in the best interest of the taxpayers.

Island Health’s signed 2016/17 Health Authority Mandate Letter is our commitment to continue to lead and manage our organization in the best interest of the Province and the citizens we serve.

Patient Surveys

Island Health participates in a provincial program to regularly survey patients in B.C. These surveys tell us how we are doing and where we can improve patients' experiences in our health care system. Find out more on our Patient Surveys page.
