Kenneth Watts

Kenneth Watts is a member of the Tseshaht First Nation, where he acts as a council member. He is former vice-president of the Nuu-chah-nuth Tribal Council and he is currently the representative for the BC First Nations Council, the political arm of the First Nations Health Authority.

Active within his community, Mr. Watts served for the Native Court Worker and Counselling Association of British Columbia as a president, vice-president and board member; the Aboriginal Coalition to End Homelessness as a board member; the First Nations Education Steering Committee as a board member; and the AFN National Youth Council as a BC representative. He holds his Bachelor of Arts degree in First Nations Studies from Vancouver Island University.

Mr. Watts was first appointed to the Board of Island Health on December 31, 2017.  His current term expires on December 31, 2019.
