VICTORIA – Burns are on the decline thanks to those who work to raise awareness about fire safety and to reduce burn injuries and deaths. In 2002/03 there were 78 discharges from VIHA facilities and that has fallen each year to approximately 60 cases in 2006/07. Read the News Release and Backgrounder (PDF)
