VICTORIA – Through a community partnership, people who face mental health challenges will have increased access to care with the recently opened Mount Saint Angela’s 31-bed mental health assisted living facility. The unique funding arrangement for this new facility includes ongoing operations funded by the Vancouver Island Health Authority (VIHA), utilities funded by BC Housing, renovations and a low lease rate provided by the property’s owner, as well as donations and support from community stakeholders and organizations.
