VICTORIA – Seniors living on Vancouver Island are getting better access to health care as a result of expanded geriatric services in Victoria and Nanaimo. With $2.7 million in start-up funding provided by the Province’s Health Innovation Fund, the Vancouver Island Health Authority (VIHA) is breaking new ground in the treatment of seniors with complex health issues.
