Local Community Event "Community Voices"

COURTENAY – As part of a series of community events to promote healing and raise awareness about issues relating to mental illnesses, homelessness and addictions, the Comox Valley Nursing Centre is partnering with AIDS Vancouver Island (AVI) to sponsor a public presentation entitled “Invisible Voices”. Local individuals who have mental illnesses, addictions, or who have experienced abuse will be participating in this public performance to include poetry, music, painting, carving and story telling as well as other forms of creative expression.
