VICTORIA – The Vancouver Island Health Authority has received $4.5 million from the Health Innovation Fund, announced today by Health Minister George Abbott for two primary care projects. These projects involve developing six integrated primary health care networks that will help VIHA residents living with chronic disease, such as diabetes or asthma, manage their conditions.
