VICTORIA – The Vancouver Island Health Authority’s Chief Medical Health Officer, Dr. Richard Stanwick, confirms that test results on students from Hans Helgesen Elementary School are negative for for Influenza A. The BC Center for Disease Control will be performing additional tests on the specimens for other viruses that circulate in the community and cause respiratory symptoms.
