TOFINO – The Vancouver Island Health Authority (VIHA) is pleased to announce that it has purchased property in Tofino that will be used as housing for medical and nursing staff in the Tofino area. This purchase is part of VIHA’s People Plan goal to encourage staff recruitment and retention in more rural and remote locations. VIHA has also recently purchased housing in Tahsis that will also be used by staff in that location. Read More (PDF)
