VICTORIA – World Elder Abuse Awareness Day has been internationally proclaimed to provide insight and awareness about the importance of recognizing and dealing with the issue of senior abuse, neglect and self-neglect, Alison Leaney, Executive Director of the BC Association of Community Response Networks (BCACRN) announced today. The BCACRN and the Vancouver Island Health Authority (VIHA) are working together to educate the public about senior abuse. Read More (PDF)
