PORT ALBERNI – Women in the Alberni Valley and across Vancouver Island now have access to faster, more accurate breast cancer screening and diagnosis with the installation of about $3 million in state-of-the-art digital mammography technology at five Vancouver Island acute care hospitals, including West Coast General Hospital in Port Alberni.
