VICTORIA – The Vancouver Island Health Authority, the Canadian Orthopaedic Nurses Association and Victoria Orthopaedic Surgeons are proud to present the 2nd annual Afternoon of Arthroplasty – a free public forum where leading health experts will discuss options for preventing and treating worn out hips, knees and shoulders.
Experts will share information on a wide range of topics, from maintaining bone health and managing arthritis to a patient’s journey from consult to rehabilitation. The forum will also feature exhibits of locally available services and supports.
Patients on Vancouver Island who need a hip or knee replacement now have better access to these procedures as wait times have continued to decrease, particularly over the past year.

Time: Exhibits open 12:30pm, Presentations 1 - 4:30pm
