VICTORIA - Following a comprehensive review launched two weeks ago of care concerns at Beacon Hill Villa, the Vancouver Island Health Authority (VIHA) today moved to appoint a public administrator at the site. The administrator will be in place for a minimum of six months. In addition, admissions to the facility were suspended Wednesday, October 3.
