Nanaimo – Due to the delays in the provinces receiving the anticipated quantities of H1N1 vaccine, two Nanaimo clinics will be cancelled. All changes will be posted on our website at www.viha.ca.
The two clinics scheduled on November 10th from 9 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.@ Buttertubs and Beban Park have both been removed from the schedule.
As well, two clinics on Nov. 12th from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm at Moose Lodge and Cavallotti Hall have been cancelled.
We are currently vaccinating high risk groups only. A list is available online at www.viha.ca/h1n1/public/vaccine.htm
The seasonal influenza shot will also be available at VIHA mass immunization clinics to those under the age of 65 who are at high risk of serious illness from seasonal influenza .
