The Vancouver Island Health Authority (VIHA) Five-Year Strategic Plan sets the overall direction for future health service delivery as we work toward our vision of a single, fully-integrated organization that provides the best care and service to VIHA residents no matter where they live or how they access our health care system.
We review and update the plan to reflect new data and emerging priorities. We also extend its scope to make sure we are always looking at least three years ahead.
In 2005/06, we carried out a significant consultation process to make sure the plan reflects our vision as well as the vision of our communities, physicians, staff and the public we serve. Consultation Summary (PDF)
