Rehabilitation Standards reflect the care that a person with a disability resulting from injury or illness can expect to receive at the Vancouver Island Health Authority. They are different from practice standards which prescribe how a professional must deliver care. Instead, they guide practice to ensure clients have reasonable access to consistent, measurable, evidence-based rehabilitation services .
