The materials associated with VIHA’s advance health care planning program have been developed for use within the Vancouver Island Health Authority. Therefore:
- if you live elsewhere in British Columbia, consult your health authority as it may be introducing another form of advance directive;
- if you live in other provinces in Canada or in the United States, please consult your local legal information agencies or government website as the VIHA advance directive will not be consistent with laws governing the use of these documents.
