Do you have a breast health concern? Have you been diagnosed with breast cancer?

We can help!

What We Do

The Victoria Breast Health Centre is staffed by Breast Health Patient Navigators (BHPN), who are Registered Nurses with expertise in breast health and breast cancer. We assist patients and their families in the early stages of the breast cancer journey: by answering questions, preparing patients for treatment visits with specialists, informing them of community supports, helping navigate the cancer care system, and providing emotional support. Through face to face and telephone consultations we provide information, education and support from initial diagnosis , pre and post surgery and in preparation for referral to the Vancouver Island Cancer Centre for adjuvant therapies. We contact all breast cancer patients who will be having surgery in Victoria.

The Breast Health Centre also provides Nipple/Areolar Micro Pigmentation Clinics ; this procedure requires a plastic surgeon's referral.

We also have a second hand Prosthetic Bank available for patients with insufficient funds or coverage for breast prosthesis.
