Can I still apply for future opportunities?
Where do I find an Application for Employment?
Yes, if you do not see a current position that fits your qualifications, but you are interested in future opportunities please submit a completed Application for Employment (PDF) by fax, mail or in person. These applications are retained for 3 months.
I can't seem to print out the application form, what am I doing wrong?
The application form is a PDF file which means you need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer in order to read it. You can click on the icon at the bottom of the column on the left. This is a free program which you can download from the Adobe website at: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep.html.
I'm an employee but don't see the internal positions listed? Are they available online?
Internal Job Vacancy Summary Reports are now available online. Please click on Internal Job Opportunities web page for all the information and reports. The complete internal job postings (and applications) continue to be posted at all the worksites.

How do I find information regarding loan forgiveness programs in BC?
Students graduating from certain health care professions qualify for student loan debt reductions. To learn more, visit the BC Loan Forgiveness website.
Can I get a job with Vancouver Island Health Authority if I am not Canadian and currently live in a different country?
Only applicants who are legally entitled to work in Canada can be considered for advertised positions. Information about employment authorization (visas) in Canada is available on the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website http://www.cic.gc.ca/.
U.S. citizens working in certain healthcare professions can obtain information about working in Canada through NAFTA.
