Job Summary

Reports to a Manager, Project Lead, or designate; provides development, technical implementation, testing and support of complex software systems, primarily within the Microsoft .NET environment by following the Systems Development Guidelines within Platform and Integration Management, Information Management/Information Technology Department. 

Provides technical support to user departments and assists with technical orientation and training of staff according to established procedures.

Primary technical tools include: MS Windows, MS Visual Studio, C#, .Net Framework, ASP.Net, XML/XSLT, HTML, COM, MS SQL Server relational databases, T-SQL, Microsoft and Crystal Reports.

Qualifications

Education, Training and Experience

• Graduation from a recognized degree or diploma program in Computer Science, plus three years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Demonstrated Skills and Abilities

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to write programs in a variety of programming languages.
• Ability to deal with others effectively.
• Ability to organize work.
• Ability to operate related equipment.
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
