Job Summary

We need a locum for the month of August, 2018 to join our ER.  We are a group of young, enthusiastic ERP's comprised of both CCFP-EM's and GP's with an ER interest.  The ER is busy with an average of 66 visits per day and more in the summer months.  The breadth of cases is broad and the work is collegial with our specialists:  IM, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Anesthesia, Obstetrics, General Surgery, and Plastics.


Education, Training and Experience

Eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have CCFP-EM or FRCPC-EM; however, we are supportive of GP’s who want to maintain ER skills and we will consider GPs, or new CCFP graduates, with keen ER interest.

Hospital Privileges - Mandatory
Emergency Experience -Mandatory
Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) - Mandatory
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Mandatory
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - Mandatory
