The City of Nanaimo with its scenic harbour setting is a wonderful family oriented community located on eastern Vancouver Island.  Educational facilities range from elementary through to Vancouver Island University with its full degree and vocational programs.

Job Summary

Opportunity for a family physician to join a well-established clinic of seven vibrant and diverse physicians, two to three family residents, and great staff. Physicians do hospital rounds and nursing home visits, call is shared. The on-call doctor does one Monday-Thursday week in every 6 weeks and one weekend in every 8 weeks. The recently renovated clinic is located near Nanaimo Regional General Hospital and has MedAccess EMR. The clinic has a nurse on staff and a pharmacy within the building. Obstetrics opportunity if desired.

Qualifications


Education, Training and Experience

- Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia
- Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) membership is mandatory
