Co-op Students

The Vancouver Island Health Authority (VIHA) collaborates with universities and colleges across Vancouver Island, the province and the country, to hire students for time limited co-op work term placements.  A co-op work term allows students to supplement their course learning objectives with valuable real life work experience.

VIHA has developed a number of resources to help guide students through the VIHA application process.   We encourage you to review our Student FAQ (PDF) our Resume and Cover Letter Tips (PDF) and our Interview Tips (PDF) that we feel will improve your chances of being shortlisted and selected for a VIHA co-op.

Please go to our Co-op Students page to learn about why you should apply to work for VIHA and more about the hiring process.
