The Comox Valley Nursing Centre (CVNC) was recognized as a “Gift for a Culture of Peace” at a special conference in Kingston, Ontario. The CVNC is one of five health programs in Canada that the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) will share in the hopes other countries will see its value and duplicate the program.
