Integrated Mobile Crisis Response Team (IMCRT)

IMCRT is a collaboration between CYFMH, Adult Mental Health and Addiction Services and Greater Victoria police forces. Child and youth mental health clinicians work alongside adult mental health clinicians, social workers, nurses and plain-clothes police officers to provide a rapid, mobile, community-based response to children, youth and families in crisis.

Services include:

  • Crisis Assessment
  • Intervention
  • Stabilization

Locations Served:

Southern Vancouver Island: The program serves southern Vancouver Island as far as Sooke/Port Renfrew, the South Malahat, Sidney, and provides phone consultation to the Gulf Islands. 


IMCRT operates from 1:00 p.m. to midnight 7 days a week.

Physicians and other mental health professionals may access the team directly through a confidential pager number (provided by the Crisis Line upon request).
