Special Care Unit features amenities available for use by all Special Care Residents including a recreation room, a TV lounge, a dining room and an outdoor courtyard.

An onsite personal laundry service is provided on a daily basis except weekends.
Cumberland Health Centre
The Cumberland Health Centre features an Adult Day Program, retail Pharmacy, Renal Dialysis Unit, Library, Hair salon, Meeting room, Laboratory, and a Private Surgical Day Care Suite.

Main Nursing Unit
Unit has 13 single occupancy rooms and 13 double occupancy rooms. Each room has a private bathroom.
There is 1 single occupancy Respite room with a private bathroom.
Special Care Unit
Unit has 26 single occupancy rooms each with a private bathroom.
Residents pay up to 80%of their after tax income which covers the cost of food and accommodation.
Special Recreational Opportunities
Residents are encouraged to participate in any of the Recreational Programs that we provide. Recreational opportunities are provided 7 days a week. The activities are planned to meet emotional, physical, cognitive and social needs such as crafts, hobbies, games, sports, cultural interests, religious interests, music, gardening, literature, drama, art, pets, and family involvement. Outings are planned to give Residents the opportunity to go out for meals and attend community events. A wheelchair accessible van is utilized by the facility to enable resident to attend outings in the community and surrounding areas.
The front entrances of the building are at ground level and doors have been equipped with push buttons for automatic doors. Where entrances are not at ground level, sturdy ramps are in place for wheel chair access.
