We do not provide long-term medical supplies or equipment for your use at home. However, the following information may help you:
If you wish to receive palliative care at home and may be in the last six months of life, you can ask your doctor to help you to apply to the BC Palliative Care Benefits Program. This program provides palliative medications, and palliative medical supplies and equipment at no charge to eligible clients.
How do I use the equipment?
Our physical therapists and occupational therapists can help you learn to use equipment designed to improve your safety at home (such as bath seats, grab bars, scooters, walkers, wheelchairs and lifts).
