Licensed Dementia Housing provides a secure homelike setting designed specifically for people with dementia.
The goal of Dementia Housing is to provide the highest quality of life possible for a person living with dementia. This is accomplished by supporting their abilities and minimizing the impact of their limitations, through meaningful, everyday activities.
Applicants must be referred and deemed eligible by a VIHA case manager.
There are two Licensed Dementia Housing sites in the South Island, Brentwood House and Sluggett House, both located in Brentwood Bay.
