Description
The ER Overnight Stipend program provides an incentive for Physicians providing on-site, night shift coverage in medium volume ER departments with average low night shift volumes.
The incentive, in the form of a stipend per worked night shift, is intended to supplement, rather than replace, fee-for service payment to physicians. Health Authorities issue contracts to approved Emergency Room Overnight groups. The group contact submits the schedule at the end of each month to Physician Compensation for payment.
