This team provides assessment, treatment, counselling, and case management services for adults with severe and persistent mental illness and short-term treatment of adults in acute emotional distress.
The program provides hospital liaison with Nanaimo Regional General Hospital (NRGH) in an effort to better meet the needs of Oceanside adults or elderly with a psychiatric disorder. Psycho-educational groups are offered throughout the year.

Services are free of charge.

Services are available to any Oceanside resident aged 19 years or over who has a major mental illness, an addiction or is in acute emotional distress.

We have an open referral process. Members of the public, community agencies or physicians can access services in person, by phone or by fax.
