Addictions Outpatient Treatment provides services to adults aged 19 and over who are experiencing drug and alcohol problems. Services are also available to adults currently affected by a family member's use.
Mental health and addiction outreach services for older adults (generally 75 years +) are provided by the Seniors Outreach Team (SORT). Referrals can be made through Seniors Health Intake by calling South Island 250.370.8565 or Central/ North Island 250.755.3301.

Substance Use Intake is located at 1125 Pembroke Street.
Self-referral for Substance Use Services is initiated by attending in person at Substance Use Intake at 1125 Pembroke Street daily between 9:00 am and 8:00 pm and arranging for an appointment to discuss service options.
Referrals from physicians and others may be made through Mental Health and Addictions Intake. Please fax the referral form and Client Questionnaire to 250.381.3222.
Referrals from Island Health services can be sent online via Pathways. Clients referred this way will also be required to attend in person.
Services are free, voluntary and confidential.
Services are staffed by professional counsellors.
Physicians are available for consultation for clients of the clinic as necessary.

Daytime co-ed intensive educational groups.

Other groups on topics related to substance use, concurrent issues, and recovery.
Supportive Recovery Facilities
Lilac Place is a five-bed house for women in the first stages of recovery who require extra support for their recovery. Women can stay up to three months and staff are available 12 hours per day. Participation in recovery programs is required during the stay.
Holly Place is a five-bed, second-stage supportive home for women who require extra support for their recovery. Women can stay up to three months and staff are available four hours per day. Participation in recovery programs is required during the stay.
The Grove is a ten-bed, second-stage supportive home for men who require extra support in their recovery. Men can stay for up to three months and staff are available 16 hours per day. Participation in recovery programs is required during the stay.
