The Developmental Disability Mental Health Team (DDMHT), formerly known as the Island Mental Health Support Team (IMHST), provides consultation and assessment services ONLY.
Services are provided to individuals who:
- Are age 14 years and older
- Have a demonstrated developmental disability and co-occurring mental health illness.
- Are residents of Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands, or Powell River.
- Have first been assessed as eligible by Community Living BC (CLBC) or MCFD/CYSN (Ministry of Children & Family Development / Children & Youth with Special Needs) for youth age 14 - 18 yrs.

Access Services
Referrals are provided by the client's Community Living BC representative and must be approved by CLBC for adults 19 years and over or by MCFD / CYSN for youth ages 14 - 18 yrs.
