Psychiatric Emergency Services (PES) at the Archie Courtnall Centre is a specialized care area within the Emergency Department at the Royal Jubilee Hospital.  PES provides specialized mental health and addiction services, including intensive assessment and crisis intervention for patients arriving in emergency at the Royal Jubilee Hospital with psychiatric disorders.  The centre also has four short-stay inpatient rooms.
