The "Super Clean" Cleaning Company is funded and administered by Residential and Housing Services.  It provides vocational training and work experience as well as affordable cleaning support for mental health clients.

Services Provided

• The Super Clean cleaning service provides affordable cleaning services to clients of the mental health system. Access to the cleaning service is through Community Support Services.
• The Super Clean janitor training and work experience program provides training to work in the cleaning and janitorial industry and a six-month part-time paid work experience.

• For the cleaning service referrals are made by case managers through Mental Health Intake.  Please see the Community Support Services.page for details on eligibility.
• For the janitor training and work experience program interested applicants must have a serious mental illness and be formally connected with the mental health system.  Individuals can self-refer by calling Michelle at 250.370.8111 ext 3283

Services Provided

• A training and paid work experience program that prepares individuals to work in the cleaning and janitorial industry.
• Free two-week in-class practical training including Building Service Worker (BSW) and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificates.
• Six months of part-time paid work experience.
• Cleaners will work in teams with a cleaning support worker.
• The cleaning supervisor supports individual learning needs.
• Provides periodic goal setting and skill assessment.
• Supports transition to community working opportunities.
