Harm Reduction

Harm reduction is a practical approach to keeping people safe and reducing the rate of death, disease and injury associated with higher risk behaviours. Although these behaviours may continue despite the risks, harm reduction strategies do not encourage high-risk behaviours such as drug use or smoking.
