Population & Health Statistics

The Vancouver Island Health Authority (VIHA) monitors a wide range of health indicators, from population demographics to social determinants of health to acute care use and outcomes. This page links to VIHA reports as well as other sources of population and health-related data.

Local Health Area (LHA) Profiles

VIHA is divided into 14 local health areas (LHAs). Each LHA profile provides information about that area's population, health status and how often health services are used.  Read the profiles
