Tanning Bylaw (Capital Regional District)
All commercial tanning facilities within the Capital Regional District that provide UV tanning must comply with the Capital Regional District Health Bylaw # 3711 (.pdf), which:
- prohibits UV tanning for minors under the age of 18 years, and
- outlines requirements for salon owners and adults 18 years of age and older
- list fines associated with Tanning Bylaw Infractions
