On March 13, 2011, the Patient Care Centre (PCC) opened to patients and began providing state-of-the-art healthcare at the Royal Jubilee Hospital. This 500-bed facility replaced the old inpatient units on the Jubilee campus.
The PCC leads health care in three very important areas: patient care; staff engagement; and the environment.

March 14, 2011 - Patients at the Royal Jubilee Hospital (RJH) are experiencing first-hand the new Patient Care Centre (PCC) today. Thanks to the hard work of VIHA staff, physicians and volunteers, all patients have been safely relocated to their new rooms in the PCC and are settled into their new surroundings.
