Residential Care and Renal Care

Residential Care

Residential Care Dietitians provide nutrition care to all residents of care facilities.  Residential care dietitians create a nutrition care plan for each resident.  These care plans are reviewed, monitored, and evaluated regularly in response to the changing needs of the person in care.

Please contact your residential care facility operator for more information.

Renal Care

Renal Dietitians provide nutrition care and education to patients with kidney disease, their families, and caregivers.  Dietitians specialized in renal disease see patients admitted to hospital and in outpatient settings either at a clinic or while in for dialysis.  Renal Dietitians support patients to make food choices to live well with kidney disease.
