Island Health is organized into (i) Integrated Health Services (clinical services) and (ii) Corporate and Strategic Services (non-clinical services).
Integrated Health Services
Clinical services are delivered through island-wide portfolios. A portfolio is a grouping of programs. Each portfolio is led by a team comprised of a medical leader (Executive Medical Director) and an administrative leader (Executive Director). The two leaders have joint responsibility and decision-making capacity for health authority programs within their portfolio and across the region. Visit Integrated Health Services for mre information.
Corporate and Strategic Services
Corporate and Strategic Services is a collection of portfolios which oversee the delivery of all non-clinical services. Visit Corporate and Strategic Services for more information.
