No matter what their job is, people like to know that their work is appreciated. Recognition is a vital part of feeling valued and connected, which is especially important and challenging in an organization as large and diverse as VIHA.

Here you can find up to date information on these recognition initiatives: 

• Long Service & Retirement - Recognizing staff and volunteers for their years of dedicated service and commitment to health care. Official 2009 event registration is now closed, please contact the Value & Recognition department if you have not yet ordered your gift or registered for an event!

• Scholarships - There are many scholarships available to VIHA staff. Scholarship applications are now being accepted for the 2010 cycle. 

• Employee Preferred Purchasing - Discounts and value-added offers on goods and services with businesses operating on and serving Vancouver Island. Updated December 2009 - check it out!
