The Celebration of Excellence (CoE) is a formal organizational recognition program where VIHA staff, leaders and managers, physicians, volunteers, and auxiliary members nominate individuals and teams who excel in a number of different nomination categories.

Program Overview
Nominations for the CoE program will be accepted online, throughout the year with nominations being reviewed on a quarterly basis.
Feedback has indicated that recognition to staff is more meaningful when it is timely and given by the manager in front of their peers. Recognition will take place at the recipient’s worksite, and presentations will consist of a certificate and a Celebration of Excellence pin.
Senior management appreciates the opportunity to visit the different worksites, meet the staff and be part of acknowledging exceptional service, and will attend onsite CoE presentations wherever possible.
