How do I qualify for a Long Service Award?

Long Service Awards are presented to Island Health employees on each 5 year anniversary, starting at 15 years of service

How do I place my Long Service gift order?

  1.  Under the Awards tab, click on your celebrating level to view the gift selection,
  2. When you have made your choice, click Select,
  3. Follow the prompts until you click Place Your Order.
If you are celebrating a Long Service as well as a Retirement milestone, please remember to choose two gifts; one from your celebrating Long Service level (or any level below) AND one from the Retirement level. Note, you will only be prompted to RSVP and select your event with the first gift order.

Where will my award(s) be delivered?

Your gift(s) will be shipped directly to your home. You will be presented with your award pin at one of the annual Long Service & Retirement Recognition events. When you place your gift(s) order, you will be prompted to RSVP to an event. If you decide not to attend any of the events, or you make your gift selection after Friday December 22nd, 2017, your pin will be sent to your home along with your gift(s).

What is the deadline for event registration and gift ordering?

If you wish to attend one of the Long Service and Retirement events you must register and place your gift order by Friday December 22nd, 2017.

If you have decided not to attend one of the events, please make sure to place your order before Friday February 23rd, 2018. We cannot accept any gift orders after Friday February 23rd, 2018.

What happens if I do not place my gift order status of my gift selection?

Due to fiscal timelines we are unable to extend this deadline and therefore cannot accept any orders after Friday February 23rd, 2018

Is it possible to monitor the order status of my selection?

Yes. If you would like to monitor your order status, click on Resources on the online order website – Track Your Order.

There is a problem with my gift, what should I do?

Please contact a customer service representative at IslandHealth@ServiceAwards.com or call 1-877-336-9605. Information on how to obtain a Returned Material Authorization Number (RMA) for your return is available under Return Instructions listed under Resource.

Can I purchase an award from the program?

No, the awards are reserved solely for Long Service Recognition and Retirement recipients. Awards cannot be purchased.
