Knowledge-to-Action Month

Every November, the Research Department works with internal, academic, and community partners to plan and host a month of presentations, workshops, and celebration, bringing together leaders and researchers, knowledge-users and patients to learn about the importance of translating evidence into practice to improve care and outcomes.

  • Nov. 20 (12:00 - 1:00 pm) - Telehealth for Multiple Sclerosis: Improving Access to Specialist Care (with the Specialist Services Committee)
  • Nov. 22 - Healthy Eating, Healthy Aging: A Community Action Plan to reduce Malnutrition in Vulnerable Seniors (with Vancouver Island University, Raising the Profile, the City of Nanaimo, and Nanaimo Family Life Association)
  • Nov. 24 (12:00 - 1:00 pm) - Rebalancing Musculoskeletal Care: Aligning Patient Outcomes with Patient Priorities (with the Specialist Services Committee)
