REDCap 101: Electronic Data Management (Part 1)

When and Where:

  • November 30 (12:00 - 1:00 pm) IN PERSON at Royal Jubilee Hospital, Victoria (Patient Care Centre Room S150)
  • December 7 (12:00 - 1:00 pm) ONLINE via WebEx

What: This course will provide an overview of REDCap, a web-based data management system available to support research, quality improvement, surveys, and operational projects within Island Health. REDCap is now available on the internet and can be used external to Island Health. Come learn about the possibilities! (For example, patient experience or follow-up surveys.)

Who: Any Island Health employee or affiliate interested in learning how to manage data online securely and effectively.

How to Register:

  • Register online through the Learning Hub.
  • In order to register for one of these sessions, you will need to log in to your existing Learning Hub (formerly CCRS) account, or set up a new account.

REDCap Lab: Electronic Data Management (Part 2)

When and Where:

  • November 30 (1:00 - 2:00 pm) IN PERSON at Royal Jubilee Hospital, Victoria (Coronation Annex 169)

What: This computer lab session will allow participants to experience and experiment with REDCap hands-on, to ask questions and get support, and to familiarize themselves with its features and easy-to-use tools. Come play with REDCap and get ready to set up your own project.

Who: Island Health managers, coordinators, and analysts who might use REDCap to set up and manage projects.

How to Register:
