Hospitalization

Being in hospital and away from home is often a bewildering time...

Going to the Hospital

Will you be going into hospital?

Do you know someone who is going into hospital?

The team can help.

  • Are you, your relative or friend open to a visit from a member of the Spiritual Care Services team? Many faith groups delegate people to visit members of their tradition while in hospital here. To help them find you, ask the admitting clerk to put your name on the list of patients who would welcome a visit from a representative of Spiritual Care Services or a faith community with which they are affiliated.
  • You or a family member can request that a member of the hospital's Spiritual Care Services team visit you. Just ask a nurse to pass your request on to the hospital chaplain.
