Volunteer at Royal Jubilee Hospital

About Volunteering

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Royal Jubilee Hospital.

Your role as a volunteer is to complement the professional role of hospital staff; volunteers enhance services to patients and their families beyond the scope of regular patient care. Services provided by volunteers support the personal dignity, safety, security and quality care of patients.

Qualifications

To become a volunteer at RJH you must be over 14 years of age. Many of the volunteer programs require you to be 19 years of age. You need to be available once a week (same time and day each week) for at least six months.

Intake Process

Royal Jubilee & Gorge Road Hospital Application Package (PDF Format)

Once completed, submit the Royal Jubilee Hospital Application Package (PDF format) by:

  2. Print it out and mail using the contact information below.

You may copy and paste this link to the Survey Reference in the body of an email you send to two people (not relatives) whom have known you for a year or more. To fill out the reference form online, control + click on the link.

In addition to that described on How to Become a Volunteer and Frequently Asked Questions, all volunteers must attend a General Hospital Orientation arranged by Volunteer Resources before starting any assignments.
